Walk About

Walk About is a podcast produced by Step It Up Highland a project based in the Highlands of Scotland that aims to help people improve their health by becoming more active and taking part in regular walks.

In this Podcast John Burns, Project Coordinator, talks to walker Betty Williamson about how becoming more active has helped her improve her health. John also talks to Dan Jenkins, Highland Healthy Weight Advisor, about the difference even a little exercise can make to our lives.

Our walks are led by trained volunteers who assess the walks for safety. Even if you have not been walking for a long time our Walk Leaders will be happy to talk to you and to help you get back into walking again.
